Waitlist Booking Page
If the desired lot on the booking page is unavailable due to an existing reservation, maintenance, the client can be added to the Waitlist. The Waitlist is a queue of clients waiting for a specific lot to become available. When the lot becomes available, clients on the Waitlist may be notified or given the option to proceed with their booking.
Note: The Waitlist button will not appear on the booking page if the lot is:
- Available for booking
- Unavailable due to Stay Duration rules
- Unavailable due to Online Availability rules
- The waitlist button will be displayed if the lot is unavailable due to a client reservation or a blocked reservation.
Campground administrators can manage the Waitlist through the Waitlist Admin Panel, which is located under the Config menu. This allows admins to monitor, prioritize, and notify clients when a lot becomes available.
Adding a Client to the Waitlist¶
A client can add themselves to the waitlist from the booking page. All they need to do is click on the Join Waitlist button. The client will be prompted to enter their name, email, phone number, arrival date, departure date, and the lot they are waiting for. Once the client has entered this information, they will be added to the waitlist.
