The Point of Sale (POS) allows you to sell products and services for your front end store. The PitchCamp's POS is a full feature simple to use point of sale which is also completely integrated into your reservation process making it seamless.
To open up the POS application select the POS item from your main menu. If you don't see the POS menu then make sure you have access to it in your user privileges.
The search bar is used to search for product by SKU number or by product name. If the SKU is scanned and found the product will be automatically added to the cart.
Product Option Menu¶
The product options menu controls the display of the product items such as:
- Showing active items.
- Showing the remaining quantities.
- Showing the item SKU's.
- Showing the edit button on the items.
- The edit button allows you to edit the product item without needing to go to the Admin -> Product Inventory page.
- Only users with Admin privileges will be able to edit the product inventory item.
The product options menu controls the display of the product items such as displaying active product items, Qty Counts, SKU's.
These items is what will be sold to your clients and used to perform a sale.
The cart area is where the product items are added to when they are selected for a sale.
The categories will be displayed on the POS/Add-on panel in the bottom section of the screen. This will allow you to easily filter out your products by clicking the individual categories.
