Sales Reconciliation
The Sales Reconciliation Report brings together all reservation and POS activity into one place, giving you a complete view of revenues, taxes, payments, gross, and net results.
You can find it in your Reports Section inside the Report Panel, it’s the first report on the top left.
Section Guide¶
The report has various sections that gives you a nice breakdown of all sales activities summed up by source (Reservations vs POS). Here’s a quick overview of each of the sections:
1. Reservation Revenue Breakdown¶
Shows all categories tied to reservations, including: - Base Camping Rates - Occupants & Vehicles - Add-ons & Services (firewood, rentals, etc.) - Booking Fees - Other Charges - Discounts
2. Subtotal¶
All reservation and POS charges before taxes.
3. Taxes¶
Total tax amounts charged (whether paid or not), shown separately for Reservations and POS.
4. Transaction Total¶
The complete total of reservations and POS including charges, add-ons, fees, discounts, and taxes.
Transactions are based on their creation date.
5. Payments¶
Actual payments received, organized by payment method (Visa, Mastercard, Debit, Cash, e-Transfer, etc.) and by source (Reservations vs POS).
Payments are recorded on the date received.
6. Refunds¶
Refunds issued based on the date received, separated by Reservation vs POS and payment type.
7. Voids¶
Transactions that were voided, recorded on the date issued.
8. Gross Revenue Total¶
Payments received minus refunds and voids.
Also broken down by Lot Rate Name (e.g., “30 Amps Full Service,” “Storage Sheds,” etc.) so you can see where revenue came from.
9. Tax Payment Allocation¶
Shows the portion of taxes actually collected with payments.
This may differ from the “Taxes” section if some reservations are unpaid, partially paid, or if additional payments were received during the selected report period.
10. Net Revenue Total¶
Collected payments minus allocated taxes.
This represents your true net revenue for both Reservations and POS.
Cross-Referencing¶
- To see the finer details of the Gross Revenue totals, use the Payment Details Report, which shows the same numbers as gross payments collected and the date of the payment received.
- To see the finer details of Refunds, use the Refund Details Report, which lists refund transactions along with their dates.
Together, these reports provide both the detailed view and the reconciliation totals for your records.
